Tom Greco*, President and Chief Executive Officer

Tom Greco joined Advance Auto Parts in April 2016 and has held his current role as President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a member of our Board of Directors since August 2016. Previously, Tom served as CEO and a member of our Board of Directors from April 2016 to August 2016.

Prior to joining Advance, from September 2014 until April 2016, Tom served as CEO, Frito-Lay North America, a unit of PepsiCo, Inc. (“PepsiCo”), a leading global food and beverage company. In this role, Tom was responsible for overseeing PepsiCo’s snack and convenient foods business in the U.S. and Canada. He previously served as Executive Vice President, PepsiCo and President, Frito-Lay North America from September 2011 to September 2014 and as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Pepsi Beverages Company from 2009 to September 2011. Tom joined PepsiCo in Canada in 1986 and served in a variety of leadership positions, including Region Vice President, Midwest; President, Frito-Lay Canada; Senior Vice President, Sales, Frito-Lay North America; President, Global Sales, PepsiCo; and Executive Vice President, Sales, North America Beverages. Before joining PepsiCo, he worked at The Proctor & Gamble Company. He has served as a director of Tapestry, Inc., an American multinational luxury fashion holding company, since December 2020 and formerly served as a director of G&K Services, Inc., a service focused provider of branded uniform and facility services programs, from July 2014 to March 2017. Tom is a dedicated supporter of many charitable organizations, including the American Heart Association (AHA), JDRF, Building Homes for Heroes and United Way. He previously chaired AHA Heart Walks in Dallas, Texas and N.C.’s Triangle Region and currently serves as a member of the AHA’s National Board of Directors, whose focus is to advance cardiovascular health for all, including identifying and removing barriers to health care access and quality.

Tom earned his bachelor’s degree from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario and a master’s degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.

Bob Cushing*, Executive Vice President, Professional

Bob Cushing joined Advance Auto Parts in January 2014 via the acquisition of General Parts International, Inc., which included the wholly-owned subsidiary, WORLDPAC, Inc. ("WORLDPAC"). Bob has held his current position as Executive Vice President, Professional since August 2016 and is responsible for the operations of our professional sales team in addition to WORLDPAC.

Bob joined WORLDPAC via the acquisition of Metrix Parts Warehouse in 1999 and was named WORLDPAC’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in January 2008. Prior to serving as President and CEO, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales and Operations for the U.S. and Canada from 1999 to 2007. Before WORLDPAC, Bob held executive-level sales, marketing and operations positions with Metrix Parts Warehouse, Inc., Interco Parts Corporation and Robert Bosch Corporation.

Bob earned his bachelor’s degree and Finance MBA from Adelphi University.

Tammy Moss Finley*, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Tammy Moss Finley joined Advance Auto Parts in 1998 and has held her position as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since May 2016.

Previously, Tammy served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from January 2015 to May 2016 and Senior Vice President, Human Resources from March 2013 to January 2015. She was Vice President, Employment Counsel and Government Affairs from March 2010 to March 2013 and Vice President, Employment Counsel from September 2007 to March 2010. From January 2003 to September 2007, Tammy served as Vice President, Staffing and Team Member Relations. Her first role with Advance was Assistant Vice President, Human Resources, which she held from March 1998 to January 2003. Prior to joining Advance, Tammy worked as a labor and employment attorney with The Center for Employment Law, PC, and as a Staff Attorney with the Virginia Supreme Court. Tammy has served on the Board of Directors of American National Bankshares, Inc. since September 2017 and currently chairs the Risk Committee. 

Tammy earned her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and a juris doctorate degree from the College of William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law.

Jason McDonell*, Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and E-commerce

Jason McDonell joined Advance Auto Parts in July 2019 and has held his position as Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and E-commerce since March 2021. Previously, Jason was Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer from 2019-2021.

Jason joined Advance after 21 years at PepsiCo where he most recently served as Canada President and General Manager for PepsiCo Foods. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s Canadian Frito Lay and Quaker businesses. Jason started at PepsiCo in brand marketing for some of the company’s most iconic snack food brands. As he progressed at PepsiCo, Jason spent time in a variety of marketing, sales and customer strategy leadership roles, including serving as Chief Marketing Officer for PepsiCo Foods Canada. Earlier in his career, Jason served in a brand management capacity at Procter & Gamble.

Jason earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada.

William J. Pellicciotti, Jr.*, Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer

William Pellicciotti joined Advance Auto Parts in January 2022 as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.

Prior to joining Advance, William served as Vice President, Controller - North America, for The Kraft Heinz Company since 2020. Prior to Kraft Heinz, he served in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility at the Colgate-Palmolive Company, including Finance Director - SEC Reporting, Accounting Policy & SOX Compliance, from 2019-2020; Division Finance Director - Asia Pacific Division, based in Hong Kong, from 2018-2019; Center Lead and Finance Director - Colgate Business Services, based in Warsaw, Poland, from 2013-2017; and Associate Director - Corporate Audit, from 2009-2013. His experience also includes finance positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the accounting firm CliftonLarsonAllen. William earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Natalie S. Schechtman*, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Natalie S. Schechtman joined Advance Auto Parts in May 2016 and has held her position as Executive Vice President, Human Resources since February 2018. Previously, Natalie served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources.

Prior to joining Advance, Natalie served in human resources leadership roles at PepsiCo for almost 10 years, including Senior Director, Human Resources for Global Foodservice, a division of PepsiCo. In that role, she was responsible for the division’s talent strategy, recruitment, training and development, organizational health and employee relations. She also held human resources leadership roles in PepsiCo’s Retail Beverages, Pepsi-Cola North America and within PepsiCo's Corporate division. From 2003 to 2006, she worked as an employment attorney with the law firm Brown Raysman in New York, handling corporate labor and employment legal issues for a variety of clients, including several large international corporations. Prior to Brown Raysman, she served in recruiting and talent management roles with The Estee Lauder Companies, FreeRide.com, LLC and Gundersen Partners, LLC. Natalie has served as an independent director of the Udemy Board of Directors since May 2022.

Natalie earned her bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College, a master’s degree from American University and a juris doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Jeff Shepherd*, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Shepherd joined Advance Auto Parts in March 2017 and has held his position as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since April 2018. Previously, Jeff served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.

Prior to joining Advance, Jeff worked for General Motors Company from September 2010 to February 2017 in various accounting and finance roles. These roles included Controller – General Motors Europe from July 2015 to February 2017, Director – Consolidation and SEC Reporting from June 2013 to July 2015, and Director – Analysis and Reporting from September 2010 to June 2013. Prior to joining General Motors, Jeff worked for Ernst & Young, a public accounting firm, from October 1994 to September 2010.

Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Michigan University and is a certified public accountant.

Stephen J. Szilagyi*, Executive Vice President, Supply Chain

Stephen J. Szilagyi joined Advance Auto Parts in January 2023 as Executive Vice President, Supply Chain. In this role, Stephen is responsible for the company’s Supply Chain and Procurement functions. 

Prior to joining Advance, Stephen served as Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions for MSC Industrial Supply, Inc. leading the company’s inventory management solutions and related operational functions, including field service, implementation, and service center operations. Prior to this role, Stephen was Senior Vice President, Supply Chain with MSC. Before joining MSC, Stephen spent 15 years with Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Supply Chain Officer from 2013 to 2016.

Stephen has served on the Board of Directors for Ada Jenkins Center, a nonprofit organization that serves as a resource hub to help those in poverty gain economic independence. Stephen has also served on the Board of Directors for the National Organization on Disability, and the American Heart Association’s Charlotte Heart Ball Executive Leadership Team.

Stephen earned his bachelor’s degree in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University.

Herman Word, Jr.*, Executive Vice President, U.S. Stores and Carquest Independents

Herman “Junior” Word joined Advance Auto Parts in February 2003 and has served in his current role as Executive Vice President, U.S. Stores and Carquest Independents since September 2022. Prior to this role, he served as Division President, Carquest North America from June 2019 to September 2022.

Previously, Junior served as a Regional Vice President for Advance from June 2014 to June 2019. Earlier in his career with Advance, Junior served as Regional Asset Protection Manager of the Midwest and Mountain Regions from August 2008 to June 2014 and as a District Manager from August 2005 to August 2008. Junior began his career with Advance as a Store General Manager in the Roanoke, Va. area. Prior to joining Advance, Junior served as a General Manager with Goodyear Tire & Service.

Junior earned his bachelor’s degree from Radford University.

Sri Donthi, Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Sri Donthi joined Advance Auto Parts in April 2018 as Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and leads the Information Technology (IT) function at Advance. As CTO, Sri is responsible for Advance’s overall IT organization, technology platforms and strategic initiatives.

Sri has more than 25 years of experience leading and developing technology functions and reengineering IT infrastructure to support core business priorities. Prior to joining Advance, Sri worked at PepsiCo for 14 years and held number of leadership roles during his time there. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President, CIO for Frito-Lay North America where his team led a comprehensive transformation effort to digitize many aspects of their core business to improve efficiency, quality and overall service. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, CIO for PepsiCo Asia, Middle East and North Africa, where he was responsible for all IT-related services. Before joining PepsiCo, Sri spent 10 years at Motorola in various IT leadership and operational roles. Sri has served as a director of Casey’s General Stores, Inc. since June 2022.

Sri earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. He also holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA from Northwestern University.

Elisabeth Eisleben, Senior Vice President, Communications, Investor Relations and Community Affairs

Elisabeth Eisleben joined Advance Auto Parts in October 2017 and has served in her current role as Senior Vice President, Communications, Investor Relations and Community Affairs since October 2019. Elisabeth also serves as President of the Advance Auto Parts Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AAP. Previously Elisabeth was Vice President, Investor Relations.

Prior to joining Advance, Elisabeth served as Director, Investor Relations at Martin Marietta Materials (NYSE: MLM) where she was responsible for building the investor relations strategy in addition to the management and communication with the global financial community. Before joining Martin Marietta in 2015, Elisabeth served as the Director, Investor Relations at Summit Hotel Properties (NYSE: INN) based in Austin, Texas. Elisabeth is actively involved in several professional and charitable organizations, including the American Heart Association where she currently is a member of the national Life is Why Council and chairs the 2021 Triangle Executives with Heart campaign. Elisabeth also serves as a Board Member for Caring House, a nonprofit that provides affordable housing to adults and their caregivers while undergoing treatment at the Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, North Carolina.

Elisabeth earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dena LaMar, Vice President, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer

Dena LaMar joined Advance Auto Parts in August 2017 and has served in her current role of Vice President and Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer since October 2020. Previously Dena was the Regional Vice President for the Great Lakes Regions.

Dena has over 20 years of sales, operations, retail, customer experience, and financial services/banking experience. Dena joined Advance from GetGo Cafe & Market, a division of Giant Eagle Corporation, where she served as the Vice President of Operations. Before joining GetGo Café & Market, Dena served as the Regional General Manager for Pennsylvania with Walmart Corporation.

Prior to joining Walmart, Dena was with Bank of America Corporation, as a Senior Vice President and Market Executive for Metropolitan Atlanta, Ga.

Dena currently serves on Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation Board, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater Board, Pittsburgh Opera Board, Robert Morris University President Council, Pittsburgh Business Advisory Council, The Pittsburgh Promise Foundation, and Leadership Pittsburgh.

Dena is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, Northern Virginia University, and Carnegie Mellon Executive Institute.

Reuben E. Slone, Supply Chain Advisor

Reuben E. Slone joined Advance Auto Parts in October 2018 and has served in his current role as Supply Chain Advisor since January 2023. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President, Supply Chain from October 2018 to January 2023.

Prior to joining Advance, Reuben served as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, at Walgreen Co. where he was responsible for inventory management and replenishment, imports, transportation, distribution center operations and logistics. Prior to joining Walgreens in 2012, Reuben served as Executive Vice President, Supply Chain and General Manager of Services for OfficeMax, Inc. Previously, Reuben served in a number of senior supply chain and operational leadership roles at Whirlpool Corporation, General Motors Company and Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation, among others. Reuben also served as a member of Advance’s Board of Directors from March 2016 to October 2018. Reuben served as a member of Tuesday Morning’s Board of Directors from July 2019 to September 2022 and is a certified NACD Board Fellow.

Reuben earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
